Erik van Ommen

Erik van Ommen, born in 1956 in the small village Epe, gains his inspiration in the field. "To understand birds, I have to understand the landscape”, he says. “Only then can I draw the birds in the landscape where they belong." The painter, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Groningen in 1983, makes watercolors, oil paintings, etchings and drawings.
